A WOLLESCOTE church is hosting a storytelling event to celebrate Black Country Day.
The official regional celebration day takes place on Thursday July 14 and to mark it St Andrew’s Church, Oakfield Road, is hosting an hour-long storytelling session from 2.30pm.
People are invited to attend and share their stories about the church and the role it has played in their lives and the community.
Everyone is welcome – from those who tied the knot at the church to people who have helped out at the place of worship or had there children christened there.
Anyone wishing to attend is invited to take along relevant photographs or memorabilia they may have.
The event is free and hot drinks and cake will be provided.
