Hollywood star Taron Egerton is set to be one of four guests to perform alongside Sir Elton John on stage at Glastonbury 2023 on Sunday. 

The music icon is set to perform on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury at 9pm on tonight (June 25).

His husband, David Furnish, revealed yesterday Sir Elton would be joined on stage on Sunday by four special guests.

Fans and festival goers have been trying to guess who these guests could be with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, Dua Lipa and even Eminem being thrown around. 

Taron Egerton to perform with Sir Elton John at Glastonbury

According to The Sun, Hollywood star Taron Egerton will be one of the four special guests to perform alongside Sir Elton on the Pyramid stage at Worthy Farm in what is being billed as his final UK gig. 

Egerton played Sir Elton in the movie Rocketman that was based on the musician's life. 

The 33-year-old, known for movies such as Kingsman: The Secret Service, sang Tiny Dancer accompanied by Sir Elton at an Oscars party.

The pair also recorded the song (I’m Gonna) Love Me Again for the film together.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Elton is going to give the performance of a lifetime at Glastonbury and has lined up some surprises for his fans at Worthy Farm.

"Taron will be coming out to sing alongside Elton after befriending him while making the film.

“The final plans are being kept a closely guarded secret but rehearsals are taking place and Elton has planned an entirely new set, different from the one on his tour, for the show.”

Who are the other special guests performing alongside Elton John at Glastonbury 2023?

While the special guests joining Sir Elton on stage at Glastonbury are yet to be confirmed, there have been a number of suggestions as to who it may be. 

Along with Egerton, names like Harry Styles, Dolly Parton, Kate Bush, Billy Joel and Britney Spears have been mentioned.
