I have lived in a lovely little close for 22 years, at first it was so quiet and peaceful.

Nowadays we get train passengers parking up here all day and our own residents can’t get a place to park. An ambulance or fire engine wouldn’t get through to attend an emergency the way they abandon their cars. It is simply selfish. Now, we also get all and sundry bringing their dogs round to run amok and treat our close like a park. Some dog walkers pick up after their dogs and others don’t. This little close is where people live, the grounds are not for dogs or for kids writing graffiti. Then to top it all, I saw a taxi drop somebody off up here and he goes and urinates by our garages. What is the world coming to. Why can’t these un feeling people go away and leave us alone. It is not a car park for train users, or a park for dog walkers and certainly not a urinal for taxi drivers. I’ve seen it all. Let’s hope the people show our residents a bit of consideration.

I’m hoping so.
